Within 30 days of the wedding they will be available for pickup. The final payment must be paid in full at that time. .................................................................................................................................................................... Do I get to keep my proofs? Definitely!! And you can order prints from them at any time. .................................................................................................................................................................... If I purchase the Data DVD, can I print my own pictures? Yes! The Data DVD is all of your full resolution digital files (digital negatives) which the copyright has been released from. You are free to print them at your own lab. Added bonus: If you purchase the wedding DVD you receive the engagement shoot as well. .................................................................................................................................................................... What is the difference if I order prints from you or if I print them at my own lab off the CD? All of my prints are retouched, optimized for color, saturation, density, and printed at professional labs on professional paper. I cannot guarantee the quality of prints if they have not been printed through me. .................................................................................................................................................................... What are the advantages of shooting digital over film? The biggest advantage is that digital files and save the cost of scanning the film if any work will be done on the files. Special effects can be easily added, retouching done quickly, and choosing if a picture should be color, or black and white is a great option. Toning can be done without messy chemicals, and one of my favorites is creating custom composites with multiple images in a fun layout. .................................................................................................................................................................... What kind of equipment do you use? Professional Canon digital SLR cameras and Canon L-series lenses. .................................................................................................................................................................... How do we go about booking you? We get together to fill out the contract, discuss the details of the wedding, and a deposit is taken at that time to hold the day for you. .................................................................................................................................................................... What do you require for a deposit? One third of the package cost plus any additions such as reception coverage and GST. .................................................................................................................................................................... When do we pay the remaining amount? The second third is due 1 week prior to the wedding. I will send you a reminder at that time. Do you charge for travel? Yes, but basically just to cover my costs. $0.40 per km each way for mileage.
